Factory Japanese Interpreter Preparation

Understand how the factory works, communicate accurately, and build Japanese skills for the shop floor

A Japanese preparation course for anyone who wants to work as an interpreter or coordinator with Japanese staff in a manufacturing plant. It covers the vocabulary, work processes and key situations you will face on the job.

You will learn how a factory operates as a whole — from organisational structure, production processes and quality control to problem handling, meetings and work reporting.

  1. Business basics in a Japanese company (company, job titles, business cards)
  2. Factory overview and production processes
  3. Factory departments and their roles
  4. Shop-floor work and basic forms
  5. Quality control and inspection
  6. Problem reporting and root-cause analysis
  7. Kaizen, PDCA and productivity improvement
  8. Production control and delivery management
  9. Equipment and maintenance
  10. Safety, 5S and ISO standards
  11. Factory meetings and hō-ren-sō (report, contact, consult)
